On this 61^st Republic Day, let me introduce you to some great people whom most of us does not recognise because they do not have ‘Gandhi’ as their surname so our government will never bless us with an holiday on their birthday or with their photo on currency notes and our history textbooks will never care to teach us about them. These people are less famous revolutionaries without whom it was not possible to kick those British butts out of India. Yup, it took more than just Gandhi & Nehru to do so! Here they come:

Baba Gurdit Singh: This surd charted a ship to Canada in 1914 with 376 Indian Passengers abroad. The Canadians refused permission to dock, attacking it instead. This surd along with other passengers repulsed the attack creating a great stir among Indians.

Badal Gupta: On 8^th December 1930, this brave man entered the Writers’ Building in Kolkata and shot dead N.S. Simpson, Inspector General of Prisons, who was infamous for his brutal oppression on Indian prisoners in jails. With no wish to get arrested by British assholes, he took loads of cyanide and died on the spot.

Bagha Jatin: As the leader of the Yugantar Party, he kicked off the Hindu-German plot to ferment unrest and trigger a revolt in the British Indian Army from Punjab to Singapore. He was finally killed in an encounter by British police.

Basanta Kumar Biswas: On 23^rd December, 1912, this young boy of 17, dressed as a woman, threw a bomb at Governor General Charles Hardinge in Delhi. He was hanged to death at Ambala Central Jail, at the age of 20; he was one of the youngest to be executed. Respect!!!

Champakraman Pillai: The predecessor of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose, Pillai began the International Cadet Corps with the help of the Germans. He is also credited with being the first few to shout “Jai Hind” openly. I so wish he can pass on some of his bravery to Omar Abdullah and Congress. Period!!!

Khudiram Bose: At the age of 16, Bose was already bombing police stations and targeting government officials. In a failed assassination attempt he killed two British women instead, sending him behind the bars. He was awarded with death penalty. He was 18 years old at the time of his execution. He smiled as he hung.

Ashfaqulla Khan: Thanks to Rang de Basanti, most of us know him. Born in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, Ashfaqulla Khan was one of the men behind the looting of money that British people were looting from us. Kakori train robbery was an awesome move!

It is sad when you see that history of our country is full of such brave people who were so passionate and patriotic. At the age of 16, 17 they scared those assholes. And now we see these spineless leaders who are continuously raping our national pride in front of the whole world just because we are silent. We are letting them to do so. It’s time now to break that silence and to amplify our voices to make India free of these pathetic vultures. It’s time to show some responsibility towards our nation.

Aaila! I was sitting with a cup of green tea in my hand, a laptop and a word document on which I was trying to jot down all my New Year resolutions (yawning side by side). And while reflecting on all the funny and serious thoughts I got this idea of making all my resolutions public by writing a blog piece. Feel free to adopt any of these or all of these for yourself too. Happy New Year!

1. Beat people for good reason: I look closely at the old people when I travel in the metro. They seem so guarded and alert. And that’s because we treat them so intolerantly (Oye budhe! side mein ho) and so rudely. Well I would like to share a top secret; you are going to surely reach their age (until you manage to get yourself killed in a bomb blast). So treat them kindly and hope that somebody treats you kindly too when you are there. So the next time I see somebody ill treating old people, I am going to follow the famous saying: ‘Uska Sar Mera Joota’!!!

2. Make a miracle happen for someone: Yes! You can make miracle happen for someone. Someone you know or someone you don’t know. I just gifted a pair of shoe to my society guard and he was too happy to get them in this chilly winter. A heater for your maid? Blanket for your car cleaner. I don’t know. You figure it out. Make 2011 a year of miracles you made happen for someone else.

3. Turning more ideas into realities: Thinking of this, there is regret in my heart that last year there were many ideas on which I could not work and now they are all buried deep down somewhere in me and I am in no mood to dig them. So this year I will try to turn more of my ideas into realities. I wish the same for you. Go and turn your dreams into realities. Make 2011 the year of possibilities.

4. Becoming a child again: I had enormous fun from 1-14 years. From 14-20, I was beating people, bunking classes, getting failed, and dating random girls. From 20-22, I was busy choosing the path of my life. From 22-24, I was confused, still confused, and right now I am being more cynic. But now I have decided to wake up the ‘disobedient, ill-disciplined child’ inside me. I am going to talk more nonsense, going to make faces at animals on street, going to make fun of people right on their face(I still do this one), and doing whatever I want to do. If possible for you, try to live like a child and you will be surely thankful to me at the year’s end.

P.S: I am not sharing the funny resolutions like 'To make sure I am in the bathroom when I pee in the middle of the night :)

Don't take 'No' shit anymore!!!

A: I want to become a Doctor.

B: No you can’t. It requires too much effort.

A: Ok...How about becoming a Pilot?

B: No you shouldn’t. Flying aircraft is too risky.

A: Ahhh...Should I become an engineer then?

B: No. You will never get a job.

A: Oh...What if I do it from IIT?

B: No. You can’t clear IIT entrance. They are too tough.

A: OMG...Should I become an entrepreneur?

B: No. It requires too much money

And the talks never ended....

In this world people will say ‘NO’ in a thousand ways!!!

“No you can’t do that”

“No you are wrong”

“No you are too old”

“No you are too young”

“No you are too weak”

“No it will never work”

And with each ‘No’ they will shake your confidence bit by bit until you give up.

Now is the time to kick this ‘No’ out of our life and to do this we need to get our feet out of the crowd and not somewhere in the middle of the crowd. When you set an example by proving your point then all the people including those who never supported in your endeavour will come and pat your back by saying “We always know you can do it”. Don’t come under anyone’s influence. Just listen to your heart that tells you to infiltrate the unknown and untapped.

A research was conducted to know the market acceptance of Bajaj Pulsar before launching it in the market. The result of the research was negative. According to the report said that bike will not be accepted by the consumer. I doubt any company will still take a chance of launching the product without altering it according to such report. But people at Bajaj were positive of what they have developed is amazing and will create wonder. Today, Pulsar is one of the highest sold bikes in the country.

They dared so they did it. Have a strong believe in yourself.

P.S: So when the world says ‘No’ to you today, are you willing to say, ‘Yes’?

I strongly believe that none of us asked to be born and I believe that this world does not owe us a living, or anything. Certainly we did not get an option of being here, but once we are here we get fed and watered, entertained and pleased, challenged and educated, skilled and dared, respected and shocked. It's all here meant for us. We are capable of doing anything we want to do. We are blessed to take from this world all it has to offer. We can take and take and take.

But what about those people who are not blessed enough? The people who lives on street or slum, the children who work as a rag picker for mere Rs. 100 a day, people living in old age homes, children living in orphanages, thousands of homeless people. Can’t we become a reason of smile on their face? Can’t we take one little step to create a difference?

The point is that we can sleep peacefully if we know that today we give something back to the world. Today we brought a smile on someone’s face. Be generous with everyone. Be generous with your generosity. Don't just give your money, give your time and care. If you have some talent, use it to help others in some way or spread it. If you have the authority to effect change for the better, then use it. If you have influence, use it. Don’t look up to someone else to do it first. You start and world will follow you. I am confident that each one of us can make a difference in our own way.

Never Give Up On Your Dreams!!!

Never Never Never give up in your life. Because the one who give up is surely not the one who make history.

In life we all want to astonish ourselves through our achievements and success on the nonstop basis. But we are not going to do that if we keep quitting. Are we??? If you say yes then God bless you! You are in big trouble!!!

There are too many folks who give up way too early. Make sure you are not one of them.

When I decided to be an entrepreneur, I made one thing sure "Either I will survive here or I will die here; but I am not going to leave it for anything in this world." No matter what the situation may come I am not going to leave something I started in the halfway. I can take break but I will not let any damn situation to break me up.

I know many people who keep switching between different options without even thinking what they are doing to themselves. My advice to such souls is to stick to the plan (Kyonki Plan mein hai dum to kamyaab hai hum:-) ).

Always rise above any problem you meet. Keep your eyes on your aim. Just stay on your mission for a while and soon you will see everything coming your way. For the reason that this world belong to the one who are more than willing to make history i.e. you and me.

P.S: Keep making History. I want coming generation to study something different when it comes to history. Enjoy Yourself!!!

Disclaimer:

At 12:30 in the night, I have no idea what am I doing here? I want to sleep but before that I have to scribble something. I am half asleep at this time and least aware of whatever I am writing.

Today, I advise you to live life well. It is so easy to get trapped up in the daily routine of life that we can easily miss the greatness of simple things of everyday.

I am stunned that how much joy I had by doing the simplest things like roaming around girls and sometimes with girls, smelling the petrol, giving high-fives, going to mountain, eating chocolate, laughing with friends, playing badminton, helping people, eating someone’s else lunch, saying thank you, sitting on a grass, having coffee in rain, watching sunrise and sunset, and lots of other small things that make this journey called ‘life’ worthwhile.

You see, while we all are working hard to get everything we want out of life, it can be a awesome break to spend some high quality time with your chaddi buddies or to take your loved one’s on a long drive.

Friends, keep your focus on what you want to achieve, but for no reason lose sight of what is great around you at this time.

I wish you all the best with all that you do in your ‘life’ to make it awesome and I pray that you experience success in every area of your life. Have a blessed Life. Always remain awesome.

Big Difference

Oh God!!! Comeback post and that too on improving yourself. Please help!!!

I am noticing that these days, wanting to be better is too often seen as a negative thing.

Dare to be better, not to compete with people around you, but to compete with yourself. Dare to better the results you have already achieved. Keep giving yourself a challenge to lift your usual outcomes. Never compare yourself to others and their results. Either they are too smart or they are too dumb for you. You are neither of them. You are “YOU”. Another downside of comparison with others is that you really set yourself up for their outcomes. In the end other people's outcomes may be nowhere near where you want to be. Do you really want to reach there and say “WTF”???...I don’t belong here.

Challenge yourself every morning when you wake up. Fight with yourself to better the results you got the previous day. Not in pushy and painful way, but more in a way that keeps you fired-up and awesome, both at the same time.

Regularly, remind yourself that you are better than the results that you experience. This doesn't mean you are better than everyone else, it just means you are constantly raising your own standard. Big difference really!!!

Make your life count!!!

This is going to be a long post. I can't summarize my 11th and 12th class in a small paragraph.

Friends are one of the most important part of one's life. They are always there for you through the thick and thin, they have a shoulder for you to lean on, when u have no one to turn to just try and turn around; a friend is always there for you no matter what happens. I have been blessed with many such friends. So i am dedicating this post to two such friends who made my school life insanely awesome. Without them I can't imagine my school life. Yes girls do play an important part but these 2 guys made my 11th and 12th rocking!!!

Ankur & Hitesh: my 2 awesome buddies and together 3 of us were the pain in the neck of school authorities. Be it bunking the physics classes for playing cricket or insulting the class monitor in front of class teacher or stealing shoes of most idiot students or fighting the local hooligans...we were expert in every notorious activity. We were an MBA(Master of Bad Activities) at that time.

Ankur being little shy was always being praised for his smile by almost every subject teacher but he never tried for them. He was fond of playing with basketball and moustache of Tiger(Mayank), eating bread pakodas and flirting with girls of commerce section.

Hitesh, a natural extrovert just needed an opportunity to stand and speak. Just because of this we all have to tolerate his singing. "Vo kagaz ki kashti, vo baarish ka paani" but I love this song. I can't count the number of girls he had dated at that time but I can count no. of fights we had because of his love affairs. He was genius at maths as he can calculate much faster than a calculator and even our maths teacher. Fond of singing, He and I use to sung many songs for girls.(although they never liked it but we liked it so we continue to do it)

Few memories which I would love to share with you guys:

1. We were the representatives of our basketball team although we never bothered to know even a single rule of the game.

2. Fighting for hitesh homemade achar paranthas and then again fighting for bread pakoras and pepsi after 5 minutes.

3. Playing with the moustache of Mayank(was triple in size from us) and then running in the corridor saving our butt.

4. Hitesh sitting up with a chick(her boyfriend use to represent our school in boxing) and Ankur & I planning for a after school fight with a boxer or a group of boxers.

5. Bursting Crackers at main gate in front of Principal. I love my buddies.

6. Hiding shoes of Pankaj(class monitor+ a dumb ass) and then making him run bare footed in whole class for his shoes.

7. Hitesh getting caught by our class teacher while kissing a girl from art section in a coal mine at science museum.

8. Spending minimum an hour for eating burger at nearby van after playing cricket on friend's computer during our 12th board.

9. Night stays at my home for studying during boards(Although we never studied). We listened to Love guru and use to make milkshake at 2 in the night. Ankur use to watch pogo whole night just to catch some adult movies.

There are lots of other memories too but i can't write all of them in one single post.

P.S: My friends I just want you to know that you guys are amazing. I wanted to thank you for everything you have ever done for me. You people have always been there when I needed you, and you were always by my side when times got rough. I am thankful to God for blessing my school days with your presence. Thanks for being there. I can never forget my school life.

What's wrong with my friends and their lack of "intelligence"? I mean, seriously. What am I supposed to do to get a date around here?

Few days back I was discussing with a friend about how hard it is to actually meet new people. You wouldn't think so, living in Metropolitan city, but it's surprisingly difficult. I don't want to date any of the girls in my immediate social circle for multiple reasons a few being:

a. They are my friends (yup, I believe that guys and girls can strictly be friends)

b. Just simply I am not attracted to any of them in any form

c. Most of them don't pass I.K scale(To knw more abt I.K scale contact himu or Me)

That being said, my friend and I concluded that the only real feasible way to meet girls is through your friends.

I've dropped some hints to my friends by saying things like, "hey, your friend is beautiful. She is cute. What's her name? Is she single or seeing somebody?"

Nothing. No response from my friends.

Me: What am I supposed to do with pics. Damn give an introduction

Sameer: No I hate all this. (he don't hate doing this...he is too scared to do this)

Me: Put your pride aside for the greater good

Sameer: me... i have other things to worry about(White lie...For all worries he have one solution: Black Label :-)

I am just wondering about what my 21 years old friend(special one) overheard or felt in her home lately.....

She: "Amit...i need to ask something?"

Me: "Yes..." [oh god, What's in her mind???]

She: "Do you know what comes first, the left hand or the right hand?"

Me: "Ummmm...ahhhh...well, I don't think I know..."

She: [confidently says] "I think the left hand comes first"

Me: "Why???"

She: "Because 'L' comes before 'R' and everything is always in alphabetical order."

Everything is right in her world...

She is like this only. Sometime she talks like some 60 years old lady who is showering you with her wisdom and most of the time she behave like a child talking all innocent talks...asking all possible stupid questions in the world. She makes you laugh terribly even if you don't want to:-):-)...One day she dream to have a executive cabin in which she really want to do some serious work(one of them is to take Uncle chips in her briefcase and eat them right there in that cabin)

Young & Restless

I have just been really restless about everything in my life. I am not at ease. I am craving change. I don’t want to ruin things as they are, but ahhh!!! I don’t know what I want but I don’t want things to stay as they are. Does that even make sense?

My life has been in turmoil for awhile and maybe now that it is settling down, maybe I just don’t know what to do with myself, maybe. Who knows??? Who really knows?

Oopppsss...I didn't updated my blog for nearly a month as I was too busy with my work. But now I am going to update this blog regularly as I am suffering from severe back pain and I am on bed rest now for a whole month.

From all that hyper activness now I am on zero working schedule and this is killing me a lot. Whole day I stay at home(means I can't see girls in C.P any longer) doing almost nothing is frustating me(not seeing girls is frustating me). So from now onwards i have decided to spent all this time in cooking(because it increases ur patience), planning my venture growths, and updating this blog and searching some cool gals on facebook!!!

I have come to realize within past few months due to my busy schedule, I missed out on some of the most important social interactions with girls...so now i have to utilise all this time now!!!

Wish me luck buddies!!!

P.S: By d way few days back I realise that I am in love...wid myself :-):-)

Lazyness in Progress

Ahhhhhh......Today I am going to tell you how to be lazy but still remain awesome and useless...

Follow these simple points and be what I am not....

1. Never do anything. If you don't do something for long time, someone else will do it.

2. Don't move unless you want to pee.

3. Never Run. Running is the worst thing you can do.

4. If something is not in your reach, you don't need it at all. Do you really want to get up and walk all the way there and all the way back to your seat to get it??? If yes stop reading this and get lost!!!

5. Don't work. Working is not good for your status of lazyness.

6. If someone ask you to move, give a damn. Show them that you are frustated because you have to move. Sigh a lot.

7. Sleep as much as you can. Contrary to common sense and popular belief, sleeping is very productive.

8. Don't talk. Talking requires too much movement of your jaw...ohhhh too much work to do.

I have more rules, but this is taking lot more efforts than i thought...I will update this later...if I am not too tired...

Things I learned in School and College!!!

Everyone have their treasured memories of school and college life...

They have there share of lessons they got in this awesome phase of life

I too have my own set learning I got from my awesome School and lame(I love calling my college 'lame') college...

1. Never ever try to date two girls of same class at the same time. You can land up in a big mess!!!

2. Don't try to hit your maths teacher with a eraser until you are as awesome as 'I' am.

3. Watching Jo Jeeta Wahi Sikander is good!!! But next day giving your girlfriend a ride on your bicycle is better!!! Cmon all the kids in the school GO FOR IT!!!

4. When preparing for an exam, 2 litres of Pepsi is not a good substitute for 8 hours of sleep!!!

5. Make it sure that your professor is not reading your answer sheet before inserting a song in the middle of one!!!

6. One cannot survive on maggi alone.....

7. One thing I never found in my management college is: MANAGEMENT

8. Locking your Account teacher in a room is a sure shot way to get suspended from the college!!!

9. You learn life lesson once you bunk your school!!!

I learned lot of things in school & college except my subjects...they actually sucks!!!

The Child in me refuses to die...Part 1

I again want to date my first girlfriend. I again want to give her a ride on my bicycle(Ooopss...i don’t have a bicycle now and I even don’t remember her name).

I still love watching Vikram Betaal, Jungle book, Tintin. I still laugh at thought of Jerry beating Tom. I still like listening to those kiddy jokes, where elephant got beaten up by the ant. I still look into the sky and try counting the stars. I still love reading Nagraj, Dhruv, Chacha Choudary, Billu. Sometimes I just want to lie down on bed and watch all interesting programmes, one after another. I again want to read all those awesome comics which filled my childhood with adventure and fantasy.

I still want to make the child in me live as much as my age. Whatever my age, the child in me refuses to die....

Whenever I pass from my school, the walls of my school remind me of my childhood. I start remembering everything that I did in my school:

Bunking of classes to watch the girls in Connaught Place

Hitting my maths teacher with an eraser

Eating friends lunch by taking it from his bag without telling him

Bunking Physics classes to play cricket(I failed in physics)

Singing songs for girls(Not even a single girl could tolerate it...but we never stopped)

Ooooppppsss.....This is getting long...will continue it in 2nd post

I hate Cadbury Part 2

Popcorn time over!!!

Despite of all sort of discouragement (concentrating on girls was a good suggestion) from every known person I decided to keep my dream alive. But with little knowledge (limited only to eating chocolates) and nothing substantial I decided to continue with Physics and chemistry and I failed in both the subject. Somehow I cleared my 12^th, took admission in BBA and was enjoying my life doing nothing...But somewhere my dream of making chocolate was still ruling my heart... and with no option of starting it, I continue eating and hating Cadbury(I guess eating was my priority at that time)

People laugh at me. They said it is impossible to start with your own manufacturing plant without any prior experience in making chocolates (Come on!!! I have 18 years of experience of eating chocolates and nearly 3 years of gifting chocolates).

So to all those people who told me it is impossible, the next few lines are for you:

In your face losers... Six years later I am making my own chocolates under the brand name Chocolicious and I still don’t know how to make chocolates. But I still know how to eat them and now I also know How to sell them:-)

Wondering what’s next???

Aaaahhhhhhh....Beating Cadbury at their own game...Yup this is next and I with my partners have started the journey towards the top and now there is no looking back:-):-)

Everyone, at some point of his or her life, has dreamed of being somebody special, somebody big or to do something big(In my childhood I always want to date Aishwarya Rai...Now I want to date Katrina Kaif...You see my life, my dreams all are XXL)

Anyone who holds the cricket bat somewhere at some point of time wants to become some1 like Sachin Tendulkar. How many times have we dreamed of being rich, or successful, or happy with our relationships? But many of us leave them just because they seem to be impossible.

Often, we dream big dreams but unfortunately, our dreams remain just dreams.
Most people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It's too hard. It's too impossible. No one can do this.

However, if everyone thought that, there would have been no computers, no internet, no cars, no mobiles, no electric bulb, no innovations, and no thirst of crossing the human limitations and no desire of dating Katrina Kaif ;-).
If you had told someone a hundred years ago that it was possible for man to be on the moon, they would laugh at you. If you had told them that you could send mail from here to the other side of the world in a few seconds, probably you would had been sent to mental asylum. But all these impossible dreams of yesterday are now realities of today.

Today's impossible is again going to be tommorow's reality...just wait n watch!!!
Ask Sachin, Dhoni, Shahrukh or Narayan Murthy and they will tell you that there can be no gains unless you are willing to come out of your comfort zone.

I hate Cadbury...Part 1

Yes I hate Cadbury but mind you I love Chocolates...

It all started back in 2003 when I first heard about the insects in the pack of Cadbury Chocolates...come on chocolates make me feel happy...They make me feel alive...one of the hundred reasons why I am on this earth. In short, I had almost spoiled myself for chocolates.

And all this was getting shattered. Insects inside packing means no more chocolates...Are you kidding me were the thoughts coming into my mind... Back in 2004 one thing which always made me realise that I am passionate was girls. I simply loved them and mind you people I still love them a lot...but I loved chocolates more than them and somewhere this insect news had shaken my belief in chocolates...Certainly thought of leaving chocolates that day was painful.

Sleepless nights and days full of sleep were the new things in my life (Yup its true)

And then suddenly a dream took birth in my open eyes which were full of sleep at that time: To make my own chocolates one day. At that time I was studying (oops struggling and partying; struggling with physics And Chemistry and Partying with girls...aaahhhh I know I am awesome) in 11th class and honestly till that time I never managed to clear my Physics and Chemistry exam but still I was dreaming of making my own chocolates.

I told it to everyone and almost everyone laughed at me. Rest advised me to concentrate on Physics and Chemistry. Few good people advised me to concentrate on Girls(Names are not meant to be disclosed). Some told me that I am too small for all this. Despite of all this I couldn’t let go of the idea of making Chocolates. To me, the idea was really great because I can eat my own chocolates, I can earn from chocolates and I can gift chocolates to beautiful girls (I hope girls are reading this line)

Shuttle 28....

Shuttle28...seems 2 b a weird name for a blog(even for a kid too)...but it is not

Ths blog is all abt role of a shuttle and 28 in my life...Its about motivation, true inspiring incident...its about how to get close to a failure and then suddenly you turned the game upside down and emerge as a winner...aahhh i think insanely awesome winner because most of the time going closer to the failure is my own choice:-)

Wondering How could a shuttle play role in a person life???

First thing first it is just not a shuttle...it is yonex made model no. 10 shuttle which changed my life, oh it is still changing my life, sometime my thoughts, sometimes my girlfriend...oops(I hope the next girl in my life does not read my blog)...

Together upto some extent they made me what I am today...An entrepreneur, A responsible citizen, Venture Capitalist...and absolutely single guy in the town(info specially for all the beautiful girls reading this blog)
